This week I did some searching for a audio editor for creating mp3 files to edit for posting on blogs. I am interested in integrating some audio in this current blog or future course design projects. I downloaded Audacity, AVS4YOU, and Windows Sound Recorder.  Audacity and AVS4 or both recorder’s and editor’s while the Windows Recorder which comes with Vista is just a plain recorder. I have all three downloaded since all are free and were easy to download. I think I am going to use AVS simply because it is easier to use and I didn’t have to download an extra file for the encoder. In order for mp3 files to convert I had to download Lame Encoder with Audacity but not with AVS4. The Windows recorder just records what you say and that is it. I would give AVS4YOU a high rating since it edits most all files and is easier to manipulate the data. The free version is very useful and an extra feature is that the same program has a Video Editor as well.
